ALMOND BLOSSOM

Probablemente te hayas dado cuenta de la foto que preside el blog. Puede que haya pasado desapercibida para ti, pero en realidad se trata de una obra de Van Gogh. Se llama "Almendros en Flor" y Vincent la pintó en febrero de 1890.
Ví esta obra por primera vez cuando visité el museo en Ámsterdam hace unos meses, y me transmitió tanta paz que al momento me quedé pegada. El florecer de la flor de almendro representa el nacer de una nueva vida. Vincent pintó este cuadro como regalo para su hermano y su mujer, que por entonces estaban esperando su primer hijo.

You may have wondered about the picture behind my blogg. It is a Van Gogh's painting called "Almond Blossom". Vincent painted it in February 1890. 
I first saw this painting when i travalled to Amsterdam some months ago, and it was so paceful that catched my attention in one second. The blossom represents the come of a new life. Vincent painted it as a present for his brother Leo and his wife, as by that time, they were expecting their first baby to be borned.

I know having a blogg in 2019 may sound weird because there are more social networks which are more powerful than this. But in my case, i feel the necesity of shareing my passion for cinema and photography somewere else than on Instagram. So here I am! Creating this blogg where i will try to share the most creative part of me.
